Les Moineaux

Les Moineaux school is set in an exceptional natural environment with lots of woodland. The sloping ground is made up of 2 clearings.  Our project takes advantage of this natural setting by investing in the 2 clearings in order to, on the one hand, minimise the impact on the landscape (less tree felling, less earth movement) and, on the other hand, facilitate the implementation of the site in phases. Our project develops the school of Les Moineaux as an ecological hamlet set in a clearing. The classrooms are the "houses", the refectory and the multi-purpose hall become the "hostel" which is built on the "rock" of the village - the sports hall. Les Moineaux is a hamlet dedicated to learning and caring. The "hamlet of Les Moineaux" is a stage in the life of a pupil who has dropped out of school. A place with a soothing and structuring environment, to accompany the child and give him time to find his way back to his village.
