Competition - First prize.
Located in a semi-open urban area, the building and its surroundings have several urban features. It plays an articulating role between a quiet street lined with typical workers' houses from the 1920s, and a more open space planted with high-rise residential buildings from the 1970s. The project visually connects the building to the street through the construction of a wall on the ground floor, which creates a visual eye-catcher at pedestrian level, and allows the development of a "secret garden" for the benefit of the dwellings.
